How listings are vetted

Every listing starts from the California Department of Health Care Services license roll and the state’s licensed narcotic treatment program list. We then match each program to SAMHSA’s treatment locator, its Google Business Profile and its own website, and we keep the source and the check date for every fact we show. Where a source claims a level of care the license does not cover, we leave it out rather than guess. Read how listings work.
